Senators’ Attempt to Prevent Debate on Medicare Bill ~ A Win for Gun Owners of America?

In Uncategorized on October 27, 2009 at 12:21 am

While the Main Stream Media is a-buzz with the health care debate, Afghanistan (should we or shouldn’t we?), Phillies fever, and who knows what else, a little known bill, S. 1776, was recently saved from “cloture” by 53 U.S. Senators. First, for those who are unsure and ask, “What is cloture?” Here it is straight from the Senate’s website:

cloture - The only procedure by which the Senate can vote to place a time limit on consideration of a bill or other matter, and thereby overcome a filibuster. Under the cloture rule (Rule XXII), the Senate may limit consideration of a pending matter to 30 additional hours, but only by vote of three-fifths of the full Senate, normally 60 votes.”

Say that again, “…vote to place a time limit on consideration…” What?! Cloture in layman’s terms, let ’s close the debate, sweep this under the carpet, and push this bill through.” The bill, S. 1776, according to Gun Owners of America is an end-around attempt by the gun grabbers to fund the gun related provisions of Obama’s health Care reform legislation. The bill titled “Medicare Physician Fairness Act of 2009 ” seeks to create a new physician medicare payment schedule. The contention of those opposed to this legislation, is that it is an attempt to fund the  $247 billion in spending removed from the health care reform bill, shift the source of funding, and reduce the face value on the health care reform proposal. See?! No deficit spending here! The chief concern is that it will open the door to the funding of certain provisions of the proposed health care reform through the Medicare system. The provisions are said to include requirements for the specific reporting by participants regarding their firearms…”Doctor,  you want to know what about my firearms?”… I don’t think so. Opt out, pay a fine. I don’t think so.   Read the GOA summary here.

According to the AMA who was in full support of cloture, “Senate leadership says S. 1776, the “Medicare Physicians Fairness Act of 2009″ will serve as the Senate legislative vehicle for eliminating the SGR and laying the foundation for establishing a new Medicare physician payment update system through health system reform or other legislation. The bill would repeal the SGR permanently and set future payment updates at zero…Those who vote for patient access will support cloture, and those who would rather see chaos, physician practice closure and a lack of access for patients will be opposing cloture. Read their take on it here.

Is the AMA just another powerful lobby? Representing the interests of…who? An interesting side note, in a recent Fox News special report, Sean Hannity reported that only 17% of the nation’s doctors are  members of the AMA. And that the AMA (with a litttle help from their friend Uncle Sam) has managed to maintain a monopoly on the control and use of the CPT codes used by medical practitioners for procedure identification and billing. (Here is an article from 2001 addressing this issue) My understanding is that the AMA has revenue in the neighborhood of $300 million as a result.

Every time you try to wrap your mind around one issue you wind up further down the rabbit hole…So many pieces of legislation, so many opinions, so much information, too much spin. Maybe if our legislators in Washington, and the 50 state houses, read and then followed the U.S. Constitution, and the Constitution of their respective states, then 90% of this s#!t stuff would go away! Remember, both Pennsylvania senators voted YEA in favor of cloture of S. 1776, and both are in support of a government takeover of nearly 1/5 of our economy. Not from the Keystone State? How did your senator vote? See here. Finally, regarding Gun Owners of America (GOA), a wise man once referred to them as, “the ONLY no compromise gun lobby in Washington.” I tend to agree.

Campaign For Liberty ~ Leading the Charge to Audit The Fed ~ What can YOU do?

In Uncategorized on September 10, 2009 at 6:27 pm

As the American people awaken, and the grassroots groundswell grows, many fed up Americans are finding themselves and their political ideology. Long time activists, and newbies alike, are sharpening their debating skills, and the once taboo,  “talking about politics in social settings”, is now the norm as everyone has a proverbial axe to grind. Finally! My “axe” is well honed, as I have had my nose to the grindstone, silently, for many years. I no longer have to bite my tongue.  Out of hiding, I am educating and waking as many people as I can. Many who once classified themselves as apolitical, or were arbitrarily apathetic about politics are now engaged, and in a big way. People are calling, writing, faxing, and emailing their congressmen/women, and their senators like never before in the history of this country. I am hopeful, and have personally dedicated my life to the cause of liberty.

As the fervor increases, two things remain certain for me. First, I do not debate politics, as it always breaks down to an exchange of rhetoric, falsehoods, twisted perceptions, and misconceptions (not mine of course). I prefer to stick to the TRUTH. For that, there is no dispute or debate. Second, I remind people that I am a single-issue, single-cause voter. My cause? Liberty, of course. Vote for liberty and you are the champion of all causes, all needs, and all humankind (so long as the aforementioned hypothetical “all causes” and “all needs” do not infringe on the rights of others as a means to their end.)

So what does this awakening and my trumpeting about being a single issue voter have to do with the Campaign for Liberty leading the charge to Audit the Federal Reserve? The answer, although very simple, can be very exhausting and time consuming to lay out in front of you in its entirety. I will keep it short and pray that if you, the reader, are in need of the facts or feel the need to debate you will first go down the path that myself and many others have gone. Do your homework, educate yourself and acquire an in-depth understanding and acute knowledge of the creation of “The Fed” and the power, control, influence and corruption it has, and continues to exert over our economy, our banking industry, our currency, and our government, both directly and indirectly through its multitude of affiliated and sympathetic, globalist NGOs (non-governmental organizations). Whew…

What is occurring is that the politically awake and the informed are attacking the root cause of the economic collapse, The Creature from Jekyll Island, responsible for devaluing the dollar, and stealing our wealth and the fruits of our labor through inflation since 1913. This is really a call to action for the awake. A mission to educate people about the Federal Reserve and have them, help us, pressure our representative legislature to take decisive action and demand a full GAO audit of the Federal Reserve. The vehicle, or the means to our end are two pieces of legislation HR1207 and S604, the house and Senate bills drafted to do just that.

So the simple answer, the mission, is to find allies in this endeavor. And by way of petition have them sign on to the cause. My basic spiel as it were, to anyone politically active or wiping the sleep out of their eyes is as follows:

“As I am all in for liberty, I support your cause as long as it does not infringe on my rights or the rights of others. Either way I at least support your right to pursue it. In turn, will you consider mine?….You see, one of the organizations that I work with on the grassroots level is the Campaign for Liberty, a group comprised of individuals from all over the country, and in no less than 100 countries worldwide. We are dedicated to educating our fellow citizens about the virtues of limited constitutional government, sound money, free markets, individual liberty, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. That is after all. the original vision and intent of the Founders. Pause……..

I continue, “If you look at the Campaign for Liberty mission statement which comprises the five key ideals that I just mentioned, all of those ideals have been steered off track. At the root, is the Federal Reserve System. It is (indisputably, undebatably) the driving force behind the out of control deficit spending by Congress. The recent bailouts are just a symptom of the much larger picture. The Federal Reserve in conjunction with our Treasury has more than doubled the money supply in the last year alone! There are TRILLIONS of dollars that remain unaccounted. When questioned under oath, Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, has stated he has no intention of revealing the whereabouts….(all a set up for the big question) Would you like to know where trillions of dollars that we are on the hook for, has gone?”

Any answer other than “Yes.” and I am searching for the nearest AED (automated emergency defibrillator). At that point I whip out my previously concealed clipboard and ask them to sign my petitions for both HR1207 and S604 the current legislation in the House and Senate respectively to Audit the Federal Reserve. While they are signing, someone else is stuffing literature into their free hand, a constitution in their back pocket, an Audit The FED sticker on their forehead, slapping them on the backside and sending them on their way with words of encouragement, ” Go out there and save the world! Buy gold, silver, seeds, and brass. NEXT!!”

The final question, what can YOU do about it? To support the cause, fight the fight? First, you can choose to follow my model above, or you can devlop your own style. The bottom line is that 75% of Americans believe that a complete GAO audit of the private Federal Reserve System is necessary for complete transparency. As of today 285 Congressmen/women in the House have cosponsored HR1207 and 24 senators have cosponsored the companion bill in the Senate S604. That being said, here is your to do list:

  • Print 100, 200, 300…petitions.
  • Like the Avon Lady, start with family and friends.
  • Go knock on the doors in your neighborhood.
  • Are you taking a bus to DC or some other prominent location for September 12th? Get everyone’s signature on the bus!
  • Get everyone’s signature in DC (except John Tate)
  • Are you staying close to home? Find an event, a gun show, a bowling alley, a ball game and take fliers and petitions.
  • Participate in the mass action day rallies at every senator’s office coast-to-coast

Whichever path you take, enjoy the journey, but, join the rEVOLution!

For liberty,

Another Day, Another Town Hall Meeting…this time with Charlie Dent

In Uncategorized on September 3, 2009 at 3:19 pm

It has been a busy week, month, summer…It seems like the days are just flying by. Here it is Thursday, September 3rd. Labor Day is fast approaching and so is the end of Congress’ summer recess. August’s news was filled with stories of town hall meetings and protests from across the country. September is already providing more of the same. The town hall meetings with our elected representatives have for the most part been emotionally charged. The hot topic appears to be health care “reform” aka: HR3200. Is this really the button that has America so engaged or is it merely just the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back?

For those that are still caught in the false left-right paradigm parroted by the pundits and talking heads in the main stream media and the polished party loyalists, the divides are growing, the battle lines are being drawn, the accusations are flying. Grass roots, AstroTurf, SEIU, Obamacare, Socialism, Marxism, death panels, rationing…Truth be told, it is no longer about Left or Right, it is about right or wrong. No matter how you slice it, peel away the rhetoric, and for many of us there is a much greater issue to confront…that is, the future of our republic. In case you haven’t noticed, the gloves are off, and the second American rEVOlution has begun.

So here we are, another day, another town hall meeting. This past Monday’s was unique. I was one of approximately 30 local business owners, business managers, and members of the Upper Perkiomen Chamber of Commerce, invited to attend a town hall meeting with Republican Congressman Charlie Dent. In these historic times, sometimes it seems as though we are nothing but observers, or unheard bystanders  in our own political lives. Not this time.  The event was sponsored by the chamber, and hosted at Brown Printing in East Greenville, part of the Pennsylvania’s 15th district represented by the congressman. In attendance was an excellent cross section of people from our community, a chief of Surgery from a local hospital, school administrators, the president of a local commercial roofing and industrial real estate development company, a real estate broker, representatives from Brown Printing, Blommer Chocolate, executives from a family owned industrial and safety supply company, many others, and myself a family man, and business owner. In that group, I know that we had Republicans, Democrats, and a couple of small “l” libertarians.

Relative to the health care debate, my personal experience and perspective is that our business provides the premier health insurance products in the marketplace to our employees. We offer 100% coverage to most of our employees and their dependents. We know first hand the affects of rising costs, and the burden on small business.   We have worked hard to reduce our health insurance costs from a projected $280K this year to approximately $200K. I personally believe that government intervention, overreach, and over regulation is the culprit and the leading cause of the spiraling costs of health care. (Not to mention the inflationary, regulatory, and immoral policies of the unconstitutional Federal Reserve. I’ll save that for another rant.)

I was among the last to arrive, and as I was making my way down the hall to the conference room where the event was held, I encountered Congressman Dent. I took the opportunity to introduce myself and to thank him for his recent support of HR1207, Congressman Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve. I also, expressed my concern that I believed our views differed considerably on the subject of health care. My interpretation of Charlie’s Medical Rights and Reform Act is that while it is well intentioned, it provides for the creation of a new government agency, new government programs, calls for “incentives”, and the acceleration of  Health Information Technology. Sorry Charlie, I do not want my medical information computerized for ANY government agency or bureaucrat to access. In Charlie’s defense, he also sponsored HR2516 in May. This bill puts forth some measures protecting the doctor patient relationship, and the ability of individuals and employers to make their own health care decisions without fear of government coercion, or the use of federal funds at the hands of federal employees interfering.

It was a relatively uneventful town hall meeting. Being invite only, this was a controlled environment, and we were a subdued group. No shouting, no sign waving, no union thugs. A relaxed atmosphere, and just good, candid discussion. Seated at the head of the conference tables shaped in a large “U”, Congressman Dent addressed the group. He showed us  copy of HR3200 and explained his understanding of what he believes is wrong with he bill. The size and scope is enough to give you pause. Everyone who had concerns was given the opportunity to air them and receive feedback from the congressman. We discussed several key issues that dramatically increase our health insurance premium costs: lack of competition across state lines, the need for TORT reform, the rampant fraud in the current socialized medical programs, and state mandates that drive up insurance premiums. Sadly, none of these issues are confronted by the current legislation, and it is highly unlikely any bill that gets passed will address these major factors contributing to the high cost of health care.

Given several opportunities to speak, I shared my concern that there is a misnomer that health care is a right. Reminding everyone that our rights are inherent, and as our founders declared, we are endowed by our creator. As our rights are unalienable, they can not be taken away, nor granted by government. To the contrary, if health care can be given or taken away by government, then it is not a right, but a privilege. Of course, I reminded him of his oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. And that it is his primary duty. Everything that congress does should be measured by their oath, and the constitutionality of the action. I also questioned the constitutionality of the current socialist government programs Medicaid and Medicare, “Are they constitutional?” To which Charlie answered, “We have them.” I raised the fact that nowhere in the 18 enumerated powers granted to Congress by the people in the Constitution’s Article I, section 8, are there provisions for “health care”. And added to that, the congress has a duty under the often misused and abused “Commerce clause” to actually step in and enforce the Constitution allowing competition across state lines, dramatically increasing competition, promoting the free market, and lowering costs to the consumer.

By and large, the attendees addressed aspects of this issue that are important, but a little more benign than my argument for upholding the Constitution. Charlie agreed with the group and echoed their concerns across the board, and said he had no intention of voting for HR3200 or any similar piece of legislation. His preferred approach would be to introduce and pass separate, smaller bills addressing the key opportunities for cost reduction in the marketplace. I hope we can do that. However, I believe that we will see a metamorphosis of the current proposal, and through the system of incrementalism, the Fabian Socialists will continue to gnaw at the remnants of our republic. We will continue to experience government intrusions, and incursions on our individual liberty, and the forceful confiscation the most precious of all of our property, the fruits of our labor. Or will we? The question that I have is: do the citizens of the once sovereign commonwealth of Pennsylvania have what it takes to stand up and truly hold their representatives accountable? Can we reclaim our servant government, and restore it to its original intent and design, of the people, by the people, and for the people,  from the ground up?

Oh, I almost forgot. Before leaving the venue. I had a follow up conversation with Charlie Dent and gave him Campaign for Liberty flier on the health care issue highlighting several important pieces of legislation HR1495, HR2630, and HR2629. I managed to hand out about a dozen or so to the other attendees. And I had a good conversation with Bob Mensch my representative in the statehouse. Bob is a cosponsor of the 10th amendment resolution introduced by Sam Rohrer, and also against real I.D. He is taking a run at the state Senate seat recently vacated by Rob Wonderling….More on that later.

The Rising Cost of Health Care…

In Uncategorized on August 24, 2009 at 1:02 am

It is no secret that our federal government rarely addresses the root cause(s) of a problem for which they claim to have the fix. The health care reform issue is no different. It seems once again that one man, stands alone, Dr. Ron Paul (our fearless leader, my president) appears to be the only one addressing the root cause(s).

In recent interviews and speeches he has suggested that government (over) regulation has created a climate prohibiting the free market, or real competition across state lines. It has also been stated on numerous occasions that we must have TORT reform. Addressing and rectifying these two vital components alone would have a dramatic affect in alleviating the current health care nightmare. Interestingly enough, I heard Ann Coulter espousing the very same, on a recent Fox interview. Hmmm, I wonder where she got those ideas?

As disciples of the Austrian School, like proteges in a karate club, all at various skill levels and stages of our training, but aspiring for the Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell, Tom Woods black-belt, we understand the pitfalls of government intervention and over regulation of any industry or market. As Sensei Woods would probably say, it doesn’t take a “Blockhead” to figure it out. We also know the correlation of the fiat currency system and its devaluation of the dollar a la Federal Reserve. I am sure that no one except our fearless mentors are discussing that paradigm as it relates to the rising costs associated with delivering quality health care.

Somehow left off of the table, there is another lesser known component to the government treachery, trickery or complicity, if you will, that has an incredible affect on health care premium costs. That is state mandates.  You see, we already have socialized medicine, even in the private sector. If you have a “private” health insurance plan you are paying for services that you will never need or use, by virtue of your gender, habits, physical or physiological status. In short, insurance lobbies pressure the pernicious state legislators to require funding for specific ailments, treatments, etc…in the health care policies sold in their respective states. Complicity, duplicity, whatever you would like to call it, with a you-scratch-my-back-I’ll-scratch-yours vote, and the stroke of a governor’s pen these mandates become law and “we the people” pay the price. I do not have a cleft palate, need HPV screening, breast reconstruction, or mammografication (my word)! But these are a few of the items that I must pay for in Pennsylvania.  In the following video Shelly Roche provides a simple yet concise explanation of this incredible extrication and redistribution of our wealth.  See a more detailed explanation, the report that she references, and the list of mandates by state here. Enjoy!

Liberty is…

In Uncategorized on July 12, 2009 at 9:56 pm

Many of us talk about liberty, about freedom. But beyond the abstract do we ever truly define what it means? What does it mean to us as a nation? As individuals? As inhabitants of America, the land that our founders mutually pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor so we may live free?

I started an experiment a few days ago, a web site, posing the question of what does liberty mean to you? The site received several hundred hits and many comments in the first 48 hours. I am still reaching out, as the project is still very much alive. I am asking you, what does liberty mean to you? Please follow the link “Liberty is…” and in one sentence or less tell the world what liberty means to you.

“Liberty is…” an experiment in free expression.

Honey!…I Chipped the Kids!

“Honey…I Chipped the Kids”

A challenge, and a big hats off to my readers (in advance). If you make it through this article and all of the links, you will find yourself armed with a wealth of knowledge. That knowledge is just the very minuscule tip of the iceberg, representing the journey that you could take. If you are already on the same page, well, then you know that this is just one issue of hundreds, but the relevance is staggering. Good luck and hold on tight…

A school district in Rhode Island is embarking on a pilot program to embed RFID into the backpacks of 80 school children. What?!….The majority of Americans are unaware of political pressure for the use of RFID technology. Better yet, let me rephrase that, I venture to say that the majority of Americans do not know what RFID is, the many ways it is being implemented today, and the proposed and intended uses in the future.

Radio Frequency IDentification or RFID as it is known in the industry, the legislature, and those familiar, is to many a technological renaissance. To those who oppose it, it is an Orwellian nightmare come true. At the forefront in the battle against the implementation of RFID are countless activist groups. People around the world, from farmers, to parents, to prisoners, to freedom loving Americans who hold dear their rights granted by their creator as protected by the Bill of Rights, and to the ACLU, are speaking out. They are challenging laws passed, and resolutions introduced requiring the implementation and implantation of such technology. There is legislation proposed, NAIS, that would require the chipping of EVERY domestic farm animal, all livestock, and the registration of every property that these animals call home. Pet owners are now chipping their pets (wouldn’t want to lose Fluffy). Passports and ID cards issued by the U.S. State Department contain RFID. To accompany their consumer tracking patent application of 2005, some American Express cards contain RFID. Or how about this excerpt from a Fox News article titled Microchips Everywhere Could Mean a Total Loss of Privacy, dated January 28, 2008:

In 2006, IBM received patent approval for an invention it called, “Identification and tracking of persons using RFID-tagged items.” One stated purpose: To collect information about people that could be “used to monitor the movement of the person through the store or other areas.”

The proponents say it provides safety, security, traceability, trackability, and accountability in an ever intensifying world. Opponents say it violates the rights of individuals, exposes us to tracking and tracing by Big Brother, the risk of cancer, and identity theft and cloning by those who wish to inexpensively “steal” RFID data. What it amounts to is another series of incursions on our civil, individual, and economic liberties, and a further surrender of sovereignty, for the illusion of security. Those who understand the true nature and inner workings of the monetary system, the controls and monopoly in place by the privately held Federal Reserve, the endless power being unconstitutionally delegated by the federal government and congress to this private entity, know the ultimate goal… The Fed wants you chipped. It has to start somewhere, EasyPass anyone?

I believe Benjamin Franklin said it best, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Here is the story from Rhode Island:

U.S. School District to Begin Microchipping Students

(NaturalNews) A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips implanted in their schoolbags.

Spreading the Message of Freedom – One Sheriff at a Time

In Uncategorized on May 26, 2009 at 5:22 pm

Liberty Rider, Michael Maresco, on his historic “Ride For Honesty” coast-to-coast bicycle journey, made his way through Southeastern Pennsylvania on Memorial Day. Michael is a man on a mission. Concerned about our nation’s obvious departure from the Constitution, the supreme law of the land, he has set out to educate, awaken, and touch the hearts and minds of as many people as he can. As he traverses this great nation of ours, his message is simple, and clear, our Federal government has grown too big, and too powerful. Continually and ever increasingly, intruding on, and usurping the rights of individuals; and overriding and undermining the power and authority delegated to the states. Michael is not alone in his belief, now, no less than 35 states have introduced state sovereignty legislation invoking the 10th amendment.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. — U.S. Constitution, Tenth Amendment

Pedaling from county to county, he is reaching out to the highest elected Constitutional authority in the county, the County Sheriff. In all 94 counties that he passes through, the Liberty Rider will be gifting each Sheriff with Sheriff Richard Mack’s book, “The County Sheriff – America’s Last Hope“, as well as, other educational material detailing our country’s plight, and what must be done to re-chart our course and restore limited Constitutional government.

I had the brief, but unique pleasure, of riding about 20 miles with Michael as he set out on Monday morning. Our first stop was a photo-op at the State House in Trenton, then on to PA. We had beautiful weather and spirited conversation as we made our way northwest towards our destination, Warwick County Park, in Chester County, PA.

The day’s ride culminated in a cookout sponsored by the Campaign For Liberty’s members from central and southeastern Pennsylvania. The Campaign for Liberty is a grass roots organization dedicated to restoring limited Constitutional governement, through educational and political activity.

Our guest of honor, Michael Maresco was greeted at the picnic by Chester County Sheriff, Carolyn Bunny Welsh, the only female sheriff in the commonwealth. Sheriff Welsh and her Deputy,  Harry McKinney, accepted  Michael’ s educational materials and discussed his historic trek. They candidly shared their concerns that echo ours, regarding the  dangers from within, that confront us as a nation. There is an urgent need for people to understand the role, and scope of authority of the County Sheriff; the true intent of the founders; the meaning of the Constitution; and the privileges and power that “We the People” have granted to the federal government, not the other way around.

To all that participated (especially my wife, Eileen), thank you and God bless. Read your Constitutions. And when you are feeling like the chips are down, and that the cards are stacked against you, remember Michael’s mantra “pedal, pedal”…Good luck and God speed.

Ride For Honesty…Begins Sunday, May 24th

In Uncategorized on May 24, 2009 at 4:05 am

In approximately 10 hours, Liberty Rider, Michael Maresco will begin the start of another historic journey. Riding for honesty, he will traverse these great United States, spreading the message of freedom.

While the preparation began months ago, Michael will mount his trusty stead, aka Wal-Mart Schwinn bicycle, outfitted with many modern conveniences, on May 24th, 2009. After taking the Ferry to see Lady Liberty, he will return to terra-firma and start his sixty three day trek. I will have the pleasure (and pain) of joining him for a portion of the South Eastern Pennsylvania leg of this journey on Monday, the 25th, Memorial Day.

Our day will culminate with a good old fashion Memorial Day cookout, sponsored by the local C4L. In addition to Michael being our guest of honor, we will be met by Chester County Sheriff, Carolyn Bunny Welsh. Bunny is the only female sheriff in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She will join us for the festivities, and speak to our Liberty Rider regarding the Sheriffs’ role as the highest elected constitutional authority in the county.

We hope you can join us!!

“Liberty Rider” Michael Maresco Coming to a Town Near You! What Can you Do?

In Uncategorized on May 17, 2009 at 2:43 pm

Most of us are now aware that our good friend, and fellow patriot, Michael Maresco is preparing for another historic trek, of the two-wheeled variety, across this great nation of ours. On his “Ride for Honesty”, as he pedals his way across the country, he will be delivering the message of liberty in no less than 94 counties. As he crosses through each of the 94 counties, Michael will be reaching out to the Sheriff and other elected officials, gifting them with invaluable information, books, DVDs, an IPOD for the Queen, etc…And reminding everyone that the Sheriff is the highest elected Constitutional authority in the county, and the state respectively. Remember, “We the People” are the ultimate Constitutional authority.

The Liberty Rider will be highlighting America’s dangerous slide into the realm of bigger, more controlling government, and a steady departure from the rugged individualism and personal accountability that made this nation great. This symbolic ride starting at the Statue of Liberty, and ending at Alcatraz, off the coast of San Francisco, echoes our voices as we warn our fellow citizens of the ominous reality of our drift from “Freedom to Fascism”.

Michael is getting his pedaling legs ready. As he makes his final preparations, he needs our help. He equates the “organic” spread , and organization of support along the way, as being akin to “herding cats”. The question posed in the title of this blog is “What can you do?” We have been reaching out to the local Sheriffs, tuning our bikes and bodies so we can ride a few miles with him, making signs and banners, planning a Memorial Day cookout with Michael as our guest of honor. And we have been donating what we can. Yes, monetary donations will make this possible. (We wouldn’t want him to get stuck in Missouri. They love him so much there, they might not let him go!), but there is sooooo much more that we can do to make his journey a memorable and worthy endeavor. Every contribution of time and energy helps. Here are some ideas that you can consider:

  • First, review the map and be ready when he passes through your neck of the woods.
  • Cheer him on as he passes by, Ron Paul and Campaign for Liberty signs and banners along the route will inspire him.
  • Organize a group ride through your county or state.
  • Personally, join Michael, pedaling with him for a few minutes, or a few miles as he pedals through (eat your Wheaties it is 10 MPH pace).
  • Reach out to the Sheriff in your county as a supporter of this endeavor, and pave the way for a meeting, photo-op, interview, etc.
  • Send out press releases to the local and national media
  • If you are near one of the “overnight” locations, make his stay memorable. A good meal, a party, and good company always helps.
  • Blog it, film it, youtube it, sing about it, dance in the streets…

Remember his mantra “pedal, pedal” But remember most of all he is doing this for liberty, for us!!!!!

For liberty,

Rob

Who is wealthy?

In Uncategorized on March 7, 2009 at 9:37 pm

I was listening to Glenn Beck’s radio broadcast yesterday and  was disturbed by the statistics that he presented. He reiterated these statistics with his compelling “magic board” during Friday evening’s television show. He was sharing results from a recent poll taken of the American public regarding their perception of wealth. The results were scary to say the least. The fact of the matter is a large number of Americans believe that if you earn over $200,000 per year, you are wealthy. There are those who think if you earn over $75,000 per year you are wealthy. And there were actually 9% of the respondents who think that you are wealthy if you make less than $75,000 per year! Lord save us.

The American public is asleep at the wheel, and heading for a brick wall! They have been conditioned by the controlled media and the ill intentioned politicians to accept lies for truth, fiction for fact! When did they stop thinking for themselves? Our sleeping fellow Americans accept the Keynesian economic principles as the preferred method of creating economic balance, and are generally clueless as to what comprises true wealth. They accept the numbers associated with gross income as a concrete representation or measure of wealth. Listen, I was abandoned, homeless, and on the path to being a mere sad statistic in my youth. I possess NO formal education, and have been to the school of hard knocks. Yet somehow, I made it. How? I developed a keen sense of survival, and managed to maintain common sense. I wonder, is that what is lacking in America today, common sense?

Like many Americans, I am a family man, and a small business owner. As an entrepreneur, I know what wealthy is not. It is not $70,000 to $250,000 in annual income. It is not annual income in the $250,000 – $1,000,000 range. Wealth is not based solely on income, but on income, assets, debt, and net worth relative to the current market conditions. Some simple examples that we can consider; You could have net income of $2,000,000 as an entrepreneur, pay 45% – 55% in combined taxes, and have a mountain of debt. That is not wealth. You could have dwindling income, and questionable valuation of assets based on uncertain market conditions, yet still on paper maintain the appearance of several million dollars in net worth. Unfortunately, the value associated with that net worth in the current market may be largely misconstrued, due to the inflationary practices of the Federal Reserve and their concurrent manipulation of the markets. That is not wealth. As a member of the upper 1% of income earners, I do not consider my family to be part of the “wealthy club”. To the contrary, we are blessed with a solid work ethic, determination and a belief in the Constitution and free market principles. Our wealth is not measured by twisted economic statistics, but by what is inside of us; our ability to unite, to overcome adversity, to adapt, to continually seek the truth, and act accordingly, to prepare, to have faith in God, and trust in the principles that guided our founding fathers. Conversely, the concentrated financial “wealth” lies in the hands of a super minority, a mere fraction of the upper echelon of the upper 1% of income earners. And unfortunately, what wealth the remaining “middle” American people have, is being methodically stripped from them through this current corrupt system of monetary control, government intervention, and market manipulation.

Even so, people are still pointing the finger at the entrepreneur, or business owner who is in the lower echelon of the upper 1% – 2% as the capitalist villain responsible for the demise of our economy, loss of jobs, loss of confidence in the “free Market”…. When in reality, it is the “control”, aka greed, exerted through central government planning, and the corrupt Federal Reserve System that is at the root of the economic collapse. The economy should be left to the free market forces. “should be”, but, it has not, almost since the inception of the criminal cabal known as the Federal Reserve System in 1913.  The media and the socialists who have co-opted our federal government have engendered a climate of entitlement and division. Their philosophy, in order to be acceptable to the masses, relies on creating discourse or conflict of all imaginable varieties and between all people; race, gender, sexual preference, union versus non-union, the haves against the have-nots, they know no bounds…We are witnessing assaults on the middle and upper middle class like never before in the history of this great nation. The objective is simple and clear. By design, through the aforementioned philosophy, which is echoed in the Communist agenda, they must eliminate the upper middle and middle classes. This is the classic struggle of the proletariat against the bourgeoisie. The goal is to reduce us to two socio-economic classes, the poor and the elite. In the end,  this can only be achieved through subversion, coercion, and slavery in the form of oppressive taxation by the Oligarchs pulling the strings both above, and in, our puppet government…But I digress.

The Time For Talking is Growing Short…

In Uncategorized on February 26, 2009 at 6:46 pm

The time has come, it is now, or maybe, never. It is time for you, and me, for all of us, to wake up. The time for talk is growing short.

Those words keep echoing in my head, “The time for talking is growing short.” I said it yesterday, but what does it really mean? I read an article yesterday. I find that with so much information to ingest, digest, ruminate, regurgitate and disseminate, I have adapted a quasi “Evelyn Wood” style of reading. The article was related to legislation being pushed by the communists, yes communists, in congress that will usher in further erosion of our National and individual sovereignty. Barbara Boxer of the Socialist State of California (SSC) is pushing for the ratification of the United Nations “Convention on the Rights of the Child”, otherwise affectionately know as the CRC TreatyClick here to read about it.

The second issue that got under my skin was a video segment that I watched from the Lou Dobbs show. Again, regarding U.N. encroachment on our sovereignty. The sad truth is that most Americans think the U.N. is a good thing, and that their international laws, are good for mankind. Wake up. The U.N. is an organization founded by the same global elite that gave us the failed League of Nations, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the immoral, corrupt and unconstitutional Federal Reserve. It is an institution founded for the sole purpose of destroying the sovereignty of all nations, especially the U.S.A.. And forcing us under the rule of an international body, a one world socialist state, or as its proponents refer to it, New World Order.

The question is do you want this for your children? Do you want to leave them an Orwellian world controlled by Oligarchs and dictators? Not me. I will leave them in a world that’s free. But the time for talking is growing short…Join the rEVOLution.

Are we free yet? Reasserting our sovereignty under the 10th Amendment…

In Uncategorized on February 25, 2009 at 6:07 am

We are not alone…As the world economy collapses, discontent rises. People around the world are rapidly becoming aware the truth behind the worldwide  decline. The nation states are swindling their citizens at an alarming rate. Bubbles have burst , and more are on the horizon, the decline in real estate values, record job loses, the evaporation of the wealth of the average working men and women, the steadily increasing power of the “state”, the erosion of civil liberties, and the progressive disarmament of societies around the globe.

Who is to blame? …We are. We the people have allowed the governments of the world , directly under the control of the international banking elite,  to hijack our monetary systems. The move is on now to pull off the ultimate coup, a final consolidation of the world economic powers. Much to the chagrin of all of the people of the world, yearning to be free. Civil unrest is spreading like wildfire, as people in scores of nations take to the streets protesting their government’s collusion with the international banksters.

For the United states of America, the boom and bust cycles that we have experienced over the last 95 years are a direct result of the economic policies of the privately owned Federal Reserve System. With their Fabian Socialist tendencies, Keynesian monetary policy, oppressive taxation, interventionist foreign policy, and over regulation and manipulation of the markets, they have systematically deprived and separated the American people from their wealth. As the final stages of the life of our fiat monetary system quick approaches, the CFR controlled legislature in Washington has pulled off a coup of their own, pushing through, in an unprecedented manner, the largest spending bill and socialist power grab in the history of this great nation. Confidence dwindles as we bear witness to our unraveling, the decline of our standard of living, and significant challenges to our personal liberties.

Ron Paul is noted for saying, “Freedom is popular”. It is in the spirit of this simple statement that another movement is sweeping the nation. As it does, the eyes of the world are upon us, America, the land of the free. What is happening? The people, disgusted with the lack of representation in Washington, and feeling left without a voice, have turned to their individual states, once sovereign, to set things right. The numbers are growing weekly. The estimate that I heard this week was that 25 states now have  introduced to the state legislature, or are considering, “sovereignty legislation”. These resolutions or bills are generally very short, 1 to 3 pages in length. The message is clear.

We the people, are reasserting our sovereignty under the rights protected by the 10th amendment to the Constitution, breaking the stranglehold of the oppressive federal government. The brave, patriotic members of the state legislatures are experiencing a ground swell of support from the disenfranchised from both sides of the political aisle, and all point in between. One such patriot is Republican Sam Rohrer of the 128th state congressional district in Pennsylvania. Like his counterparts in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Texas, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Washington, Missouri., etc…he is leading the charge in his state with this simple, yet concise resolution.

Contact your state representative and state senator. Ask them where they stand on “State sovereignty legislation”? Are they aware  of the legislation in your state? Are they willing to take a stand, and uphold and defend the Constitution? Will they sponsor or co-sponsor the legislation?

Remember, the message is clear “Freedom is Popular”. If you want it, you must do your part.

What is So Fair About the Fairness Doctrine? Nothing…

In Uncategorized on February 15, 2009 at 5:22 pm

There has been a lot of talk on both sides of the proverbial aisle about the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, or some similar legislation. Did I say “legislation”? Yes. Wait a minute, I thought government could not “legislate” away our rights…

Let us not forget what our president, who is not a Marxist said during an April debate in 2008, “I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can’t constrain the exercise of that right…”

The reality?…It doesn’t matter to which of the ten amendments in the Bill of Rights that you apply that line of thinking. The government does not have the authority to “constrain” our rights. Remember, that freedom of speech is one of many inalienable rights, not granted, but PROTECTED by the first amendment to the Constitution in the Bill of Rights. If you have not done so lately, it is time to read it!

The proponents of this measure are largely Democrats. However, I really do not like to classify them as such. The force behind this is really the Progressive Socialist movement and the Marxists living within, and slithering around the bowels of Washington.

At the forefront is Senator Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan. In an interview last week with liberal radio host Bill Press, she said, “I absolutely think it’s time to be bringing accountability to the airwaves,” She also expects hearings soon on reviving the policy, which was introduced in 1949 and abolished in 1987. Mind you her husband, Tom Athens, is an executive in which field? Liberal radio, of course.

Another proponent of this measure is CFR member, Bilderberg, globalist, and former president, William Jefferson Clinton. Hear what Bill had to say about this issue by clicking here.

Now what is really at play here? The Socialists are attempting to silence the rapidly growing dissent from the American public and the few voices that they have. Conservatives, Republicans, truthers, Conspiracy theorists, Patriots, and all members of the Freedom movement are under attack. Remember that much of the Main Stream Media is owned and controlled by the international banking, and corporate elite. API, Reuters, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and yes even FOX have corporate ownership with a serious stake in the political landscape.

Let’s take it a step further with a few not so famous quotes, from a few very famous men:

“The CIA owns everyone of any significance in the major media.” – William Colby – Former CIA Director

“These international bankers and Rockefeller Standard Oil interests control the majority of newspapers and the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of public office officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government.” – Theodore Roosevelt

“The ruling class has the schools and press under its thumb. This enables it to sway the emotions of the masses.” – Albert Einstein

Finally, while campaigning B .H. Obama vowed to leave the issue alone, however in a recent statement to the press, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said, “I pledge to you to study up on the ‘Fairness Doctrine’ so that, one day, I might give you a more fulsome answer”.

So now you must ask yourself, if the corporations control the majority of the MSM outlets, why do they want to silence the voices from the other side, the voices of the American public who support the advertisers of these programs, and actually make the shows and their ratings soar in large part through their own participation? Have you ever called in to Hannity, Rush, or Glenn Beck? How about your local conservative talk radio program? If not, it is high time you do  before your voice too is silenced.

Taxation without Representation – Allyson Schwartz

In Uncategorized on February 13, 2009 at 4:56 pm

Angry? Yes. I feel like it is 1773. The rule of law is no more in this country. The Declaration of Independence has not yet been written, the tea has not yet been dumped in the Boston Harbor. Tensions are brewing and there is revolution on the horizon…

I just got off of the phone with “James”,  a staffer at congresswoman Allyson Schwartz’s office in Washington. Schwartz is the representative for the 13th district in South Eastern Pennsylvania. We all know that the consensus in this country is that the American people do NOT want this “Stimulus” aka largest socialist power grab, and spending bill in the history of this country.

While expressing my discontent in the aforementioned terms, “James” became very short with me. I inquired as to the nature of the voluminous number of calls, faxes, and emails that the congresswoman has received. As a constituent I wanted to know what the consensus was for the 13th district. “James” said he “…did not know.” Of course, I asked him, “who in the Congresswoman’s office would know” He told me that “..if I wanted that information I should take a poll in the district.” What?!!! As a constituent I believe that I have a right to know what is being related, in general terms, to my representative, and how it is going to influence her vote.

“James” informed me that the Congresswoman was voting in favor of the “Stimulus” package.as it would stimulate the economy and create jobs…

Our representatives are charged with the responsibility voting in accordance with the wishes of their constituents. Not to vote based upon their personal beliefs, the wishes of the Socialist Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi (who is rushing this bill through so she can catch a flight to Europe for an eight day junket to meet with her European Socialist counterparts!), the wishes of the Marxist agenda of our Pennsylvania senators, or our Marxist president.

“James” chided me, “I don’t have time to argue with you”. I insisted, “I am not arguing”. I do believe that the constituents have the right to know what our representatives are being instructed to do by the constituency…”Who can I speak to in your office who can provide me with that information?”

“James” again instructed me “…If you want that information you can hire a polling company” What?!!! “Why should I hire a polling firm if you have that information? She (Schwartz) works for us!” I attempted politely to further this conversation and honestly find out what it would take to acquire that information.

“James” then quickly “Thanked” me for calling and hung up on me. Yes, I am angry. This is taxation without representation! Enough is  enough.schwartz-1

Senator Arlen Specter Chose to ” …exercise independent judgement.”

In Uncategorized on February 10, 2009 at 12:30 am

Arlen Specter, you are fired! Oh, how I wish it were that easy.  Comrade Specter was on Sean Hannity’s radio program today. Mind you I only caught the last 15 seconds of the segment, but I heard all I had to hear. Of course Specter is one of three (progressive socialist) Republicans, that are committed to voting for the “Stimulus” plan. Anyone who has spent 3 minutes reviewing this bill understands that it is the single bigest power grab and spending bill ever foisted on the American public. Enough is enough folks.  While on Sean Hannity’s program Specter professed, confessed, bragged that he had to “exercise independent judgment.” WHOA!! Did he lose his rule book? He is supposed to vote according to the wishes of his constituents. Time to send him packing my fellow Pennsylvanians. He followed the Hannity show with a call into the local Philadelphia radio program. He offered more of the same socialist rhetoric, with multiple references to his Washington Post diatribe “Why I Support the Stimulus” We must act now blah, blah, blah… Excuse me Chicken Little, we know the economy is collapsing. You can not prop it up with inflation, socialized health care, and  spending $800 billion + worthless Federal Reserve notes (private banking criminal cartel). Lord save us!

On the “October Surprise” (theft) bailout he voted “YES” even though Pennsylvanians told him 9 to 1 to vote “NO”. This latest “Stimulus” is no different. His fax machine, email and phone lines were melting last week, this weekend, and today. It was again a resounding “NO” … Once again, he will defy us. We are officially unrepresented. This IS taxation without representation. Where do we go from here?  If we can’t un-elect him for two years, maybe we can just get Chuck Barris to bang the gong. Gong show here we come!

Letter to My Senators Regarding the Socialist Spending package aka: “The Stimulus Plan”

In Uncategorized on February 7, 2009 at 7:35 pm

I drafted this letter and faxed it to my senators, and then with the help of my daughter, to EVERY Senator…

Dear Senator,

While my criticisms may seem harsh, they are not unfounded. With all due respect, the legislature sold us, the American people, down the river with the “October Surprise” bailout. You have furthered the agenda of the socialists through nationalization of the financial and automotive industries. We told you 9 to 1 to vote no. But enough of you voted yes. We, the informed people of this country, knew the money and accountability would disappear. Where is the money? You are stealing the future assets of our children, and of generations yet unborn.

Once again, we urge you to reject this current “stimulus” (wasteful socialist spending) plan, as it will do nothing to stop the economic collapse or create jobs. Creating more “debt” money will only further devalue the dollar. There is NO compromise when it comes to freedom, whether economic, individual, or that of a nation. Reject these socialist schemes, fascist interventionism, and stop attempting to artificially prop up the markets and illiquid assets with borrowed, fiat money. Your job is to protect the rights of individuals, “regulate” commerce (by protecting the rights of individuals, not controlling it), and protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic, nothing more. You are part of the servant government, and do not have the authority to control, confiscate from, or invest in private entities. Let us in the private sector keep the fruits of our labor, so we may retain and create jobs. Governments DO NOT create wealth; they only have the power to destroy it. Stop trying to intervene and let free markets prevail. VOTE NO!!!

Many of you seem to have forgotten that you work for us, the citizens of the once sovereign states. You are charged with the obligation to vote according to our wishes, not the wishes of the president, or the progressives (socialists), the lobbyists, or the international bankers. Washington is destroying the dollar, as you work in concert with the PRIVATE BANKING CARTEL known as the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM, stealing the wealth of the American people through confiscation, inflation, and manipulation of the markets. Enough socialism, do your homework before you cast another vote on behalf of myself, or the good people of this great nation.

Both Pennsylvania senators have previously conveyed to me their support of S2433 which is a communist redistribution of our wealth through the UN, and furthers the socialists’ commitment to the Millennium Declaration, Kyoto (anthropogenic global warming hoax), and our ultimate disarmament…If you have not already done so, denounce your allegiance to the United Nations and reassert your allegiance to the sovereign state from which you hail, and the United States of America. We are not a democracy; we are a constitutional republic, where the rule of law, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights should prevail.

Finally, you have repeatedly ignored petitions for redress of grievances as guaranteed by the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. Millions of Americans are aware of this blatant refusal to follow the law. Millions more will know as we educate them at an unprecedented rate. It is time for you to redress our grievances, support and defend the Constitution as you are sworn to do, or recuse yourself from office.

Sincerely,

Rob P.

I am not a “progressive”…

We, as a nation, are traveling down a precarious road. Many of us, against our will. We have been kidnapped and taken hostage. Many, are willing participants, along for the ride as though on a tour bus that merely took a wrong turn. They believe that although we took a wrong turn, we are heading in the right direction now.  We’ll be back on track in just a little bit, a couple of turns up ahead…What they fail to realize, acknowledge, or simply face, is that the bus has been hijacked. And the hijackers, although many got off at the last stop, are still at the wheel. That brings us to another interesting contingent of passengers. They, like the first group of passengers, know that the bus has been hijacked. However, they are reluctant or unwilling to face the fact that the criminals that they accuse of hijacking the bus and taking us on a wild, unwieldy, and unconstitutional ride, are still in control. In their mind’s eye, the guy driving the bus, and the nice staff are on our side. A regular Ralph Kramden, if you will. Together, we will try those hijackers, and  justice will be served. Why they can’t see who the driver really is, is beyond me. It defies all logic, all sense of true historical counts.

I think to myself, maybe they are just blind? Or if they can see, maybe they can’t read? Maybe they have their own demons, addictions, and vices that keep them so distracted and unaware, that they will take anything they hear and see on the “Plug in Drug” as fact? I don’t know. What I do know is that the course was charted so very long ago, and now we must do whatever is necessary to find our way “home”…

A New Day, A New Chance for Freedom

In Uncategorized on January 21, 2009 at 9:35 am

January 20th, 2009, a fresh start. I woke to a beautiful, sunny, but brisk winter morning. Went for a run with my dog, made coffee for the family, showered, started my work day about 8:30, barely a man made cloud in the sky… By 10:00 am  it was “cloudy”, but there was hope. By 12:05 pm a new president had taken the oath of office, by 4:30 pm the stock market was down -332.13 (-4.01%) The worst inauguration day on record. No fault of his, the system was broken long before he stepped onto the stage. The housing bubble burst, retail sales have plummeted, jobs are evaporating at a record rate…

The question is , under the circumstances, can he truly uphold the oath? Only time will tell. I would like to say yes, but I just don’t think so. Nothing against the new prez, but the cards are stacked against him. You see, he is surrounded by people who don’t support the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights.  In 1991, then president Bush, pledged our allegience to the U.N. The current cast of characters is no different. As a matter of fact, el presidente Obama had also previously pledged his allegiance to the U.N.  His S2433 proposes (at a time when the country is bankrupt) $800 billion + to reduce world poverty by diverting your tax dollars to the U.N.! It commits 0.7 percent of our GNP, plus gives the U.N. the authority to raise the tax, jurisdiction over our foreign aid, and commits us to the U.N. Millennium Declaration (banning small and light arms), and Kyoto! Good luck on the oath, it was abdicated years ago. Incidentally, this bill has 30 co-sponsors, including the support of now V.P. Biden, and both of my senators…Don’t blame me, I wrote in Ron Paul.

Change We Can Believe in?

In Uncategorized on January 17, 2009 at 8:40 pm

Remember all those campaign promises, the “change” you were promised? No more Washington insiders, lower taxes, changejobs…? Are you still paying attention? Have you taken note of all the cabinet appointees? Do you even care? The promises made, are now the promises to be broken. Prez-elect is warning that we will all have to sacrifice, have “some skin in the game”. News flash, we already have skin in the game. We are at the mercy of a parasitic bureaucracy, that taxes us unmercifully. Who benefits? The recipients of the entitlements, who are bound to the slavers that feed them? Or those of us whose wealth has been appropriated and redistributed? How about those that pay no taxes, what will be their sacrifice? The fact of the matter is that Trillions taken in income taxes do nothing more than attempt to service the interest on the debt incurred, by our misguided government. By allowing the criminal, privately held Federal Reserve to create our “debt” money out of thin air we have incurred trillions in debt to foreign countries, Communist China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, etc… Is that okay with you? Wake the hell up! We deserve sound money, backed only by silver and gold as stipulated by the Constitution. At this stage of the insanity, we might even settle for another fiat currency issued by the treasury (without the aid of the private bankers)…Not really, that’s just the ramblings of a desperate patriot. So much, is so wrong. Let’s hope that this recycled new administration will limit the number of appointees and department heads with dual citizenship or ties to globalist organizations. Maybe that way our interests will be better served. You know, avoiding a conflict of interest where someone may have allegience to another country or the agenda of some NGO bound and determined to acheive global governance. Do I detect an air of sarcasm coming through? No, not this close to the inauguration. Blind faith, unquestioned confidence, and obama23forgiveness, that is what we will use to guide ourselves as the spectacle approaches. We can forgive Timothy Geithner for his tax evasion, after all, what does strict attention to detail have to do with heading up the Treasury and the IRS? That is for the little people. After all, you should see their credentials…Put on your sweater Mr. Rogers, and brace yourself folks, the winds of change are blowing…

When the Truth is found to be Lies…

In Uncategorized on January 11, 2009 at 12:44 am

A line from the famous Jefferson Airplane song?  Or a fitting commentary on the world, as presented by the mainstream media (msm)? Both, I am sad to say. The fact of the matter is that the mainstream media (msm) of the world is bought and paid for, owned. Want real news and unbiased political opinion? Turn off the msm and read a book, check the facts, turn on your computer. Watch 10 videos, check the facts, read a book, check the facts… Seek the truth, and the truth will set you free. Open your mind, and the truth will enter. Close your mind and live with the lies. As I used to tell my children, there are two sides to every story, and the truth lies somewhere inbetween. The Israeli Palestine conflict is no different. There are some basic historical facts that the msm will not reveal or discuss. How important they are to finding the truth is up to you.

Fact: Arthur James Balfour lived.

Fact: The Balfour Declaration of 1917 was a British foreign policy doctrine made to fulfill an “obligation” to Rothschild.

Fact: The U.N. intervened in 1947 and 1948 and played a key role in the “creation” of the state of Israel on land occupied by the Palestinians.

Google: “Balfour Declaration 1917″ and ” Benjamin Freedman speech” and “Theo Herzl”

Think about what you now believe, open your mind, let the information inside. Ask yourself, “has my government ever lied to me to promote their foreign policy objectives?” or “Is the msm always truthful?”

As always, take the journey. Watch the following video. Be smart, be safe.

A Tribute to Our Forefathers, and All Patriots, Past , Present, and Future

In Uncategorized on December 25, 2008 at 4:45 am

Today, Christmas Eve 2008, we decided pay tribute to our forefathers, and the patriots who endured the harsh winter in Valley Forge Pennsylvania, 1777. Inspired by an email that she received from fellow patriot Collins Bailey, my wife planned our excursion to Valley Forge. We went to honor those that sacrificed their lives and fortunes to secure liberty for their families and future generations. And although we have been there many times before, today’s visit moved us like no other. Please watch the video that I made, and understand that I posses no video making skills, just the desire to spread the message of hope, and liberty around the world like wildfire.

Remember, it does not see skin color, it does not differentiate between religions, or nationalities, it has no prejudice, and no need to kill, it belongs to all people, even those who seek to take it from us. Freedom, is ours to have, and to hold. To do so, we must have faith, and we too must be willing to risk all, to keep it secure for future generations.

May God bless you.

The educational rEVOLution, what it means to me…

In Uncategorized on December 24, 2008 at 4:37 am

There is a lot of information available “out there”, most of it biased. It is up to us to understand the motivation behind the message and the reason for the bias. As a seeker of truth, I gravitate towards information and sources of news, historical fact, etc..whose bias or motivation is support of the law of the land (the Declaration of Indeendence the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights) and the cause of individual liberty. I generall support the teachings of our forefathers, the shapers of the documents that founded this great nation, the republic (NOT A DEMOCRACY) of these United States.

I am always reaching out to people that I meet. I, like they (I think), quickly assess them at the initial moment when we meet. I believe that is human nature. I try not to let my personal prejudices or preconceived notions, enter into, or steer my thoughts. I try not to judge. What I do, is attempt to discern if there is an opening, a chance, that they may be receptive to my message. Sometimes the meeting or chance encounter may only last a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes, sometimes much longer. However long it may be, I use that encounter if I sense an opening, to share the “truth”. If I sense the opening I (always armed with pamphlets and cards printed with great websites) pounce, figuratively speaking. Sometimes after asking a few leading questions, sometimes right away, I let them know that we are in the midst of a revolution, an educational revolution. And, it is my duty to share the information with as many people as I can…

You see, the educational rEVOLution, this rEVOLution as it has been explained to me, is really about love. Love of life, love of family, love of God, love of freedom, love of your fellow man. It is our opportunity to reach out and educate each other, together seek the truth, accept our differences, right the wrongs of our society, uphold the rule of law, and restore the republic.

will be a gradual, steady process. But, a necessary one. Just as I am severing ties with the international banking community, I am striving to sever ties with any organization controlled and manipulated by greed, the interational banksters, the immoral, unconstitutional Federal reserve, the CFR, and anyone or any group that is intent on furthering the NWO agenda. I suggest that you do the same. I will continue to post the “news”  and provide political and economic commentary,  just ultimately, from another platform. My mission, and the mission of those who wholeheartedly support this movement, is about seeking and spreading the truth, respectfully, candidly, and uncensored. I hope all will join us in this endeavor.

If you are reading this, you have some basic understanding of what is really happening in the economy, the military industrial complex, and the corrupt international banking cartel, otherwise known as the Federal Reserve System. Hopefully, you are fairly well read (still have a pile of reading to do), have done your homework (youtube) and otherwise. You have turned off the main stream media, have listened to the message of the few respectable, honest voices in our legislature, like Ron Paul, and are listening to the words and heading the advice of notable people like Peter Schiff, Jim Rogers, Gerald Celente, etc…The dollar is doomed to fail and the inevitable collapse will come, regardless of what the socialists and communists that have co-opted our government attempt to do. The simple analogy is that, it is like trying to prop up the Guinness World Record house of cards, in a steadily increasing wind. Good luck! You can only manipulate the markets and stave off the inevitable for so long. We will continue to see record foreclosures, loan and credit card defaults, job losses, store closings, more homeless in tent cities, civil unrest, and eventually more government intervention, regulation, and fascist restrictions on all aspects of life, in the name of saving the worldwide economy, and for our security.

Welcome to the educational rEVOLution…and the youtube Boycott

In Political Activism, Uncategorized on December 20, 2008 at 3:08 am

I am a man on a mission, part of the educational rEVOLution. I have devoted my life to the cause of freedom. Everyday I try to wake upWake Up America! as many people as I can. Taking it to the web, the phone, the streets. I blog, I email, I chat, talk, vlog, drive my family crazy. I stop only when my body and brain will go no more. In the spirit of Thomas Paine, I am a pamphleteer.

Today I felt stifled, silenced, handcuffed so I branched out. In an effort to spread my reach across the cyberworld, I started this blog. I have been tormented with the frustration of (and temptation to violate) the youtube boycott. Several fellow users in the youtube community, as a result of too much censorship, put the call out for this boycott. Out of respect, and solidarity with my cyber-patriot friends, I have participated in this protest. For the frequent youtube user and publisher of videos, the new changes in youtube policy (algorithmic censorship) are unacceptable. These policy changes coupled with what appears to be blatant view count and comment manipulation/censorship has gone too far, the proverbial straw that broke the vlogger’s back.

Sooooo, here I am, wordpress. Not so bad in here, just a little quiet. I also joined vodpod, revver, liveleak, and dailymotion to name a few today…Oh, I forgot to mention that the boycott includes google, youtube’s parent company and corporate CFR member. In an additional show of support I suspended my google adwords pay-per-click ad campaigns for my biz. Time to drum up business the old fashion way.

If you are a believer in personal liberty, a supporter and defender of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence, then join us. Spread the word and participate in the boycott. Change your home page, search engine, etc… Take a stand, join the rEVOLution!

In pursuit of liberty, for my children and yours,
